Choose custom invoice template when emailing to customer

I have three different invoice email templates that I use and send to customers.

When I was doing this through "Web Mail" I had the ability to change the invoice template when sending to the customer without having to change the company preferences default selection.  Now that our company has switch everything over to Outlook that feature is appears to be unavailable.

I do not have the option to change to single user mode every time I want to send the "past due" invoice template to a customer instead of the default invoice template.

Is there no way to make this option available when using Outlook?

Choose custom invoice template when emailing to customer

Good morning, @MH_WMTL.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community for support. I'm happy to lend a hand with your email templates.

When using the email feature in QuickBooks, the webmail portion, we can add/edit info on the template since it's being used inside QuickBooks. However, when you use Outlook, this will follow in the 3rd party format. Meaning, Outlook will get opened outside of QuickBooks. In this case, you won't be able to modify the template the same way as you do when using Webmail. Some of our customers have found it resourceful to edit the email once it's in Outlook.

I can see how editing the email template inside QuickBooks (as you do for Webmail) would be beneficial for you and your business. I have submitted a feedback request on your behalf to our product development team. This way, the suggestion can be considered in a future update.
