Error -6094,0 Quickbooks Nonprofit Unable to start database server

I backed up my QuickBooks file on an external hard drive and tried to open it in the new QuickBooks on my new computer. It is unable to open and shows the error sign. How can I open my backed up files?

Let's get rid of the error -6094, 0 so you can get back to working order, @W-Mo.

It's possible that the backup file was damaged that's why you aren't able to restore it to your new computer. To get this fixed, let's run some troubleshooting steps.

First off, you'll want to make sure that the spaces in between the company file's name are removed. Then, try exporting the file again.

Try to copy the backup file into your local drive and restore it.
