Estimate Emails distorted and elements too big

Hello,

#1 - My customers are receiving distorted Estimate emails from Quickbooks Online:

  • Our company logo appears first and is HUGE
  • Then it says your estimate is ready with the price
  • Below that are EXTRA large credit card brand images
  • Then small text saying Below are your estimate details
  • After that, there's the quote summary
  • Next there's a VERY long paragraph with QB loan details
  • Ending with a LARGE QuickBooks logo
  • And, my email template text appears nowhere in the email!

The copy we received looks more normal, however, has the following issues:

  • Our company logo is first and still way too big
  • The price of the Estimate follows and it is obnoxiously big (48)
  • Then comes my email template text, but the font size is too big too (18)
  • At the end is the Quickbooks logo, but I think that should be smaller too

Is there a way to decrease the font size and the sizes of the elements in the email?

Can we change the order of the elements? My email text should be first, not the price.

How can we customize QB emails to customers to make them more professional looking?

We need the ability to customize the above mentioned aspects of emails ASAP! Thank you!

Also, I still can't see my email changes on the details screen while composing it to send out.

Is there any way to see the text as I'm writing/changing it instead of the locked template version?

Estimate Emails distorted and elements too big

QuickBooks Online has limited options for customizing emails, lp_mi. Let me address your questions and provide some information.

We can adjust the font size and element sizes in your email by tweaking your estimate template. Here's how to get started:

  1. Click on the Gear icon and select Custom form styles.
  2. Choose your estimate template and click Edit.
  3. In the Design tab, select Make logo edits and set the size to Small (S).

  4. Next, click on Select a different font and choose 8pt for a cleaner look.

  5. Once you’re happy with the changes, hit Done to save your updates.

Currently, QuickBooks Online doesn’t allow rearranging the default order of elements in emails.

Also, you're currently unable to preview or see your email changes directly on the details screen while composing.

Let us know in the comments if you need further help while doing tasks in QBO, we’ll be happy to assist.
