Hello, contact-pratimas.
Thank you for taking the time to post here in the Community. I'm here to share some information about changing billing information from apple to QuickBooks direct.
Transferring billing from Apple to QuickBooks is currently unavailable. What we can do is log in to your QBO account in a web browser and reactivate your subscription since doing the process on the mobile app isn't possible since you've purchased it via Apple iTunes.
Let me show you how:
For more info, please see this article: How to resubscribe or reactivate QuickBooks Online.
I'll also add the reference on how you can manage your billing, payment, and subscription info in QuickBooks Online. This will help you if you make changes to your plan.
I'm just around the corner if you need further help to manage your subscription in QuickBooks. I'll be happy to assist you again. Stay safe and have a pleasant day!
Thanks, but I tried this several times before to no avail. When I click 'Billing And Subscriptions' I get an error message-
'Unable to process your request at this time. Please sign out and try again later. If the issue persists, please contact support and reference this message.(Error code:-81623)
Questions about your subscription?
Looks like you are on Apple or Google billing.'
Where you able to figure it out? I'm struggling with this now. I decided to just cancel my apple subscription and wait for the first day after to re-subscribe directly through Quickbooks...we'll see how that goes.
I am stuck on this topic also. I subscribed for a trial in apple and then continued. However the payment goes to personal iCloud/Apple Card. I want to subscribe directly with Intuit/Quicbooks, but cannot seem to this. I need to have this go through business checking/debit account not my personal iCloud payments. It's a real pain otherwise. Is there any way to do this? What is recommendation? at this point, I might as well do the old fashioned way and use Excel spreadsheet ...:)
I understand how you want to make the process simple and easy. I'll guide you on how you're going to do about it, Claire.
Initially, since your billing is tied up to Apple, you'll want to cancel your subscription with them. Once done, call the Apple Support Team to verify if the account has been successfully canceled.

How did this go? Did you lose any info? I'm nervous waiting because I don't want all my data and chart of accounts and such to disappear or something. I had my subscription set with Apple billing, but I'm trying to change it to my business account info, so I was instructed to cancel my subscription and go to the Subscriptions and Billing section on Quickbooks Online, but I get the same error message. My month is up in a couple weeks, so trying to figure this out ASAP.
I appreciate you responding to this thread and further explaining your issue with updating your Apple billing to QuickBooks Online (QBO), Eshaan. Let me offer more insights on how subscriptions function in QuickBooks and assist you in seamlessly transitioning your Apple billing to your QBO account.
Please keep in mind that after you cancel your QBO subscription, your data will be available in read-only access for 1 year from the date of cancellation. The steps provided are for QuickBooks Online instructions and will only work if you bought the subscription directly from Intuit and used your credit card information. This is why you don't see the Edit button on your end.
Managing a QuickBooks plan varies depending on where you purchased your subscription. Since you mentioned Apple, it appears your subscription is through them. To ensure that the billing is charged to your business credit card, you need to remove the old payment details after adding the new one. Here's how:
Here is an article you can refer to for the detailed steps in managing your billing information in QuickBooks Online: Manage billing, payment, and subscription info in QuickBooks Online.
In case the billing still appears on Apple, I suggest contacting the Apple Support Team. They have the tools to pull up your account and ensure that the billing of your subscription will be updated.
I'll also add the reference with our Live Experts if you want guidance from bookkeeping experts, need your books organized for tax time, or prefer a dedicated bookkeeper to do your books for you.
In addition, I included an article that contains answers to frequently asked questions about the reactivation process: How to resubscribe to or reactivate QuickBooks Online. From there, you'll learn how long QBO preserves your data and its charges.

I cancelled my Apple subscription because I want to pay directly through Intuit, but still get the message that my account is being managed through Apple, but it’s all cancelled on their end. I don’t see any button to edit payment on QBO.
It sounds like you are experiencing a common issue where subscription management can get stuck in a loop between different platforms. We can perform some troubleshooting steps to resolve the problem of managing your QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription after canceling an Apple subscription, Eshaan.
Let's verify the cancellation with Apple by ensuring that the subscription to QBO has been canceled through your Apple account. Here's how:
If the cancellation has not been successful, we recommend contacting Apple Support for help. Once done, log in to your QBO account and update your billing details on file. This article provides detailed steps for managing your billing information in QuickBooks Online: Manage billing, payment, and subscription info in QuickBooks Online. Then, proceed to the Update or Change your payment method section.
If QuickBooks still indicates your subscription is being managed by Apple, you might not see the option to change your payment details immediately. To better isolate this issue, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to see if the issue is within your browser. We can open a private or incognito window in the browser to open QBO with a clean slate and load fresh data. Here's how:
Then, log back in and check the Billing & Subscription section again to see if the payment management fields are now editable.
If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to delete those temporarily stored files and browsing history. The overtime data collection can create corruption, however, removing this should fix the issue. Also, you can utilize another supported browser or device if this doesn't work. This happens when the current browser you're using has a temporary issue with the program.
If the issue persists, we recommend contacting our Customer Support Team. Our representatives have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment and help you with this one.
Moreover, you can refer to these articles to learn more about managing your QBO subscription:
We are just one post away if you have other account subscription concerns or any QuickBooks-related. We'll be around to help you always, Eshaan. Take care always.
