How do I access a 1099 for a second client? I've received emails from 2 clients that my 1099 is ready, but can only access the one from the first client.

I created a free account when I followed the email link to access the first 1099, but now it's the only one I can access.

Let me help share how you can access 1099s from a second client, jimmyfusil.

When managing 1099s in your account, you only need to fill out these forms once. You can sign in and send your existing W-9s if you get another invite from someone else.

If you need to change or update details from your forms, you can modify them before your employer or client submits your 1099s to the IRS. To do this:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed. Use the same account you used to fill out your W-9.
  2. Select your profile ⚙ icon.
  3. Choose Tax profile.
  4. Make changes as needed.

Please know that the information will automatically update for your employer in QuickBooks Online.

You can visit this guide for more detailed insights: Fill out a W-9 and view your 1099-MISC in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

I'm including this reference for further guidance in filing taxes through QBSE: QuickBooks Self-Employed annual tax guide.

I'll be on this thread, willing to back you up if there's anything else you require additional assistance with when managing 1099s in your file. Feel free to let me know anytime you need help. Keep safe and have a great weekend ahead!
