One more issue: How do I get the transaction to migrate to next year?
Hi there, editfred.
I'm happy to know that my colleague was able to help you with your first concern.
With regards to your second issue, may I know what transactions you're trying to migrate? Also, may I know what you're referring to next year? Any additional information will help me provide the best resolution for your concern.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon!
Recurring transactions are all invoices sent to customers once a year for the same amount. I've chosen the interrval to be one year. In QB Desktop, in Memorized Transactions, the Invoices were automatically dated one year later and put back in the queue.
Thank you for providing additional information about your recurring transactions, editfred.
In this case, when you migrate your QuickBooks Desktop company file to QuickBooks Online, the recurring invoices will also be transferred.
Once the migration is complete, you'll need to review and recreate the recurring invoices in QuickBooks Online. I recommend reviewing and adjusting your recurring invoice settings in QuickBooks Online to ensure they are set up correctly.
You can create recurring transactions in QuickBooks Online by following these steps:
By recreating your recurring invoices in QuickBooks Online, you can ensure that they are automatically generated and sent to your customers on an annual basis. I've added this article for more details about the setup: Create recurring transactions in QuickBooks Online.
