It’s nice to see you in the Community, userdeanna.
In QBO, you can print using your own checks (computer-generated). Before doing so, they have to be formatted for QuickBooks.
Also, the check type has to be a standard or voucher. The former has three checks per page, and the latter has one check per page that includes check stubs.
With just a few clicks you can print a check. Here’s how:
- Press the New menu in the upper left to select Print checks under Vendors.
- On the Print Checks page, tick the box for the transaction you’re working on.
- Then hit the Print setup option to open the Print checks setup page.
- From there, choose the check type you’ll use.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
- When you’re ready, tap the Preview and print menu and then Print.
I’m adding an article to help you in the future. It outlines the complete instructions from the setup process up to printing a check. From there, you’ll see a video for visual reference: Print a check in QuickBooks Online.
