For now, the option to print split transactions through the View register is unavailable in QuickBooks Online. Although, I can provide you an alternative option you can use to get these details.
You can run the Transaction List with Split reports to show all of your split transactions, then print it to get your data. Let me show you how:
Additionally, you can customize your reports in QBO to easily view the transactions that you needed the most.
I can see how this option would be helpful for you and your business. Therefore, let me take note of this as a suggestion to improve your QuickBooks experience.

Hi - I need to also print register with splits but in QB desktop. Can you please tell me how to do that?
Thank you
This is so frustrating....I don't have a Transaction List with Split listed under my reports (Quickbooks online) and I have spend hours searching how to get the detailed transactions listed in a report. This seems like a BASIC report request, however Quickbooks can't provide it to the customer. So now I have to go into every transaction that is split and manually extract out the details. What do we pay a monthly subscription for?!?!

That only displays that the item is split. How do we get Quickbooks DESKTOP to print each line of the split?
It's good to see you here in the Community, @LaClaireCWW. Let me share info about printing each line of the split in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
The option to print each line of the split on a report is currently unavailable. I recommend sending direct feedback on this. Our product developers will receive your suggestion and consider adding this to future updates.
Here's how to submit within QBDT:
As a workaround, let's generate a report with the split details included and then save it as a PDF. Once saved, import it into Excel and manually print each line of the split.
Moreover, you can check out this article to learn how to modify memorized reports so you can save the customization for future needs: Create a memorized report.
Feel free to ask if you have any other questions or need further assistance while the feature to print each line of the split is unavailable.
