How to turn off sign in to company file on desktop Pro 2020

Everytime I log into my new 2020 Desktop, I get a pop-up that asks me if i'm and Admin or not, and says I have to set-up an Intuit account (which I have and have entered into this program multiple times) and then I must sign in to Intuit online. I can't bypass this or even exit it!

I don't want to log-in online everytime I use my program. How do I turn off this question?

How to turn off sign in to company file on desktop Pro 2020

Thanks for providing details and a screenshot of your concern, @jackallenphd.

The issue about QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) asking if you're an Admin or not is currently under investigation (INV-44191). Rest assured, our Product engineers are working hard for a fix to get you back up and running.

Meanwhile, we can reset the Internet Explorer (IE) to the default to load the pages correctly. Please note that doing this may affect some third-party apps that uses IE. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon ⚙️ at the top right part.
  2. Choose Internet options.
  3. Select the Advanced tab, and then click Reset at the bottom.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to restart IE or the computer if necessary.
  5. Open QBDT again, and then log in to your company file.

Also, I recommend contacting our QBDT Support team so you'll be added to the notifications' list. I'll guide you how:

  1. Go to the Help menu, and then select QuickBooks Desktop Help or press F1 on your keyboard.
  2. Click the Contact Us button.
  3. Type your issue or question on the search box like "INV-44191", and then tap Search to continue.
  4. Choose either the Get a Callback or Start Messaging options.

Check out the QuickBooks Desktop section of this resource for the support hours to ensure your issue gets taken care of on time: Support hours and types.

You may also use the repair tool to fix errors while using, installing, or updating QuickBooks.

Please let me know if you need more help with managing your account or anything else related to QuickBooks. Take care and have a good one.
