Good day, @accounts483.
Are you referring to the NO. column in the All Sales window? If so, this column is a default format for this page. Therefore, this should be present once you open the window. Additionally, once it's added as a column, this should also be available once you log back in.
It's possible that too much cache accumulated in your browser might be the cause of this issue. This can be the reason why you're unable to this column when opening the All Sales window.
Let's clear this out by running some basic troubleshooting steps. To start, use a private browser to access your account in QuickBooks. It is also known as InPrivate in Internet Explorer and Incognito mode in Google Chrome. This browser mode doesn't record the browsing activity on your local device. You can access this by pressing the following keys:
If you're able to see the NO. column again, then let's clear the cache in your web browser or try using a different supported browser. This might be a temporary issue with QuickBooks and the current browser that you use.
Additionally, there are several financial reports you can run to track your sales income in QuickBooks. They will show you helpful insights on the things you buy and sell, and the status of your inventory.
If you're referring to something else, please let me know. I'll be around to help you. Have a beautiful day!
Hi @accounts483,
Hope you’re doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about the All Sales tab concern you had yesterday. Was it resolved?
Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I’d be happy to help you at anytime.
Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!
I did reply but for some reason it isn't showing here.
Anyway, it is NOT the No. field, it is the Order No. field that I added to my view in the Sales Transaction tab and it will not order by this field, doesn't even see it. Otherwise the blank fields would not be displaying in the attached picture.
I just checked it again and it's still not working.
Thanks for your prompt response, sharing details, and I appreciate you for following the troubleshooting steps suggested by my peer, @accounts483.
Allow me to add more information about the columns in the All Sales tab. Usually, we can see options by clicking the Mini Gear icon. However, these are the only available options I see on adding or removing a column. Here's a screenshot for visual reference.
If you're referring to a custom field, I suggest checking the Custom fields list and then make sure that the Order No. field includes your sales forms. This may be the reason order numbers aren't appearing in the Order number column.
Here's how:
Once done, you can go to the All Sales tab and then click the Mini Gear icon to check the Order No. box. In addition, you might want to refresh the browser to fix missing details in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
If the issue persists, I encourage contacting our Care Support team to investigate this further. They have the tools to check your account and submit a high priority ticket to our product engineers to fix it.
Feel free to let us know if there's anything you want to know about QuickBooks custom product preferences and navigation. I'm always around to help you. Take care and more power to your business!
I have tried this - but still problem remains unresolved.
There must be a way out, if anyone has managed to resolve this please could you email me at [email address removed]
