Is quickbooks only for sole proprietors?

Hi there, gettingfreeinjc-.

Welcome to QuickBooks Community. I'll share different information about QuickBooks and what various business types are designed to use this accounting software.

Subscribing to a service or an account with us is totally up to your preference. If you want online software to manage your finances, do data entry and calculate your taxes as a self-employed individual, then you can try out subscribing with us.

When choosing the right QuickBooks version, you'd want to consider the tax form you're filling. There are several programs you can venture to cater to your business needs. If you're using the QuickBooks Self Employed version, yes, this service is for sole proprietors, does not have employees, and who file Schedule C. Then, QuickBooks Online is for all business types. If you want to try out the features and functionalities of our services, I'll be adding the test account links you can use to get an immersive QuickBooks experience before making a decision.

These test accounts work like the regular subscription but it won't save any data therein. Once you're ready to subscribe or learn more about the type of subscription you like, go to this link here.

You can also refer to this article to view different QuickBooks products and versions of Intuit: See which version of QuickBooks is right for you.

Feel free to drop me a reply below if you have any other QuickBooks questions. I'd be glad to answer them for you.
