Hi narmdirector,
I have two options for you on how to set a default invoice that products are already attached. You can either create a recurring invoice template that has an Unscheduled type or click a similar invoice and then Copy it.
Here's how:

Narmdirector - did you ever get a satisfactory answer? I don't feel like the answer given is what you were looking for. I'm trying to figure out how to have a default attachment that goes with every invoice, and this is the closest question that I could find, so I'm hoping you found the answer.
Good day, @Tidler.
Welcome to the QuickBooks Community.
Right now, there isn't an option to automatically enable attachments on the invoice in QuickBooks Online. In the meantime, you'll need to manually upload the attachments to each invoice.
Having this option to apply updates, such as customer address, to future or existing transactions is a great idea to add in our program.
Our developers have a massive product roadmap. They are implementing new features based on the functionality that works best for most users.
For now, you can visit our QuickBooks blog site so you'll be able to the latest updates and features in QuickBooks Online.

Hi,
Is this answer still correct as of June 2020? I see that the original question was from February 2019 with a final answer in November 2019. I'm hoping that this feature has been added since then. I also would like to have a default attachment (IRS W9 form) go out with every invoice. It would save time and potential errors if this could be setup. Thanks.
Thanks for joining the thread, @JGargiulo.
Currently, the option to have a default attachment for your IRS W-9 form when creating an invoice isn't yet available in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Rest assured, our product engineers are still working on it so this feature could be added soon.
Meanwhile, you may consider following the steps suggested by my peer Catherine_B about copying a similar invoice or creating unscheduled recurring transactions. I'd also recommend visiting our QuickBooks Blog to get updated about the latest news and product enhancements. Please use this direct link to access it:https://quickbooks.intuit.com/blog/.
Also, you'll want to learn how to customize your invoices in QBO. This way, you're able to personalize them suited to your business needs and becomes more appealing to your customers. Please refer to this great resource for the steps on how to do the trick: How to customize my invoices in QBO?.
I'm always around in the Community if you need more help with managing your invoices or anything else related to QuickBooks. I'd be more than delighted to help you some more. Take care and stay safe.
For the time being, consider having a 3rd party app to do so. You may send an Estimate with a kind of document (e.g engagement letter) by default. Once your client is approved it by system, the app will generate invoice automatically.
When will you have default attachments (like w9) in Quickbooks? Can you please provide a committed timeline.
Thanks,
Ralph
I appreciate you for following up on this thread, ralphrabbat.
As soon as the default attachment for W9 is available, I'll be sure to drop back into the thread and give you an update. This way, you can utilize the feature in your QuickBooks Online snappily.
As of the moment, I'd recommend doing the workarounds shared on this thread if you didn't try it yet.
I can see how default attachments in the invoice are essential for your business and others. With this, I'll route you to a page where you can post feature suggestions. This way, our engineers can discover a method on how to make this feature happen quickly.
Here's how:

Actually intended a thumbs down (x infinity) for this overused, ridiculous excuse for lack of basic functionality and paying subscribers waiting YEARS literally for response/resolution. That reps continually boast of the overworked, when we get to it ... development teams is ridiculous crap. Unable to accomplish even simple, minor tasks with any overhyped intuit "product".
All feedback on continual dysfunctional issues is ignored in order to hype new features which are usually equally dysfunctional. Most require paid third party apps to accomplish tasks, while ignored except for price increases
