I am entering mileage manually today. Previously to today there has been an box to click to "make it round trip". Now it is missing. What happened to it?
Thank you for posting here in the Community, lcconley24.
I'm happy to guide you today so you'll be able to track mileage round trip in QuickBooks Online.
Here's how:
1. Go to Mileage on the left panel.
2. Hover the green Add trip button in the middle right on the screen, then click Create trip.
3 Fill out the ask information.
4. Click Create a round trip, then Submit.
I've got some resources that you might need for additional information: Learn about standard mileage and actual expenses deduction methods.
Keep me posted if you have any follow-up questions about signing in to your account. I'll be around to help.
Having the same problem, glad to know it's not just me. However the solution provided in the answers did help. The "create a round trip" button isn't there anymore.
The "Create a Round Trip" button is missing.
Thanks for joining on this thread, @gkramer.
I appreciate you for following the steps outline by my colleague above. Let's get your Round Trip button to appear by doing some basic troubleshooting steps. This way, you create and track a round trip as soon as possible.
To start, I'd recommend accessing your account through incognito. These browsers won't collect any cache and cookies. This way, we can check if it's a browser-related issue.
Here are the shortcut keys:
Once logged in, go back to the Add trip page and check the Round Trip tab. If you see it, please go back to your normal browser and clear the cache to speed up your browser. Using other supported browsers is a good option too.
If the issue keeps going, I'd advise communicating with our Technical Support. They have tools capable of pulling up your account in a secure environment and send a ticket to our engineers for investigation.
Here's how:
Please feel free to check our support hours to ensure we can address your concern quickly.
Additionally, you can also click the Download Trips on the Trips page. This way, you can review and track your mileage data.

Me too - no "round trip" button
I've been using the Round Trip button almost daily. That and the Duplicate Trip feature are suddenly missing from QBO. Actually, the entire quick menu that always appeared to the right of my listed trips is missing. Please help! I cleared my browser cache, tried incognito window, used different browser, etc. Please help!
Same here. Missing the button. Tried the steps suggested. No change.

I spoke to Quickbooks this morning - they couldn't resolve the issue.
I have found that once you have created a 'one way' trip there is a circle to the right hand side of the created trip that gives you the 'round trip' option. Click this and the return journey is created! :)
Hi Barnshaw!
could you post a screen shot of the circle of where to change a trip to round trip please? I can’t see it. Am using the app on an iPhone.
