My tax info didn't send to turbo tax

Hey there, @hondaryder82391-.

 

I'm here to help send your tax info to turbo tax in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). 

 

If you sent your accounting data from QBSE but it didn't appear in TurboTax, don't worry. There are certain tasks you need to do before the export can finish.

 

First, you need to start the export process from the QBSE. If you're log in to TurboTax Self-Employed, you'll have to sign out and sign in to QBSE. Then, make sure are not logged into any other QuickBooks product when you start the export. This can cross wires and block data.

 

Once done, ensure to complete the tax checklist in the Annual taxes tab in the program. After you export everything from QuickBooks Self-Employed, TurboTax asks you to complete a questionnaire. Follow the onscreen steps for each question. 

 

Once you answer all the questions, you can look for your QBSE data. Then, type jump to Schedule C in the search bar to go to the Schedule C section and look for any messages asking you to review your info. If you're still unable to send your tax info, access your account in a private browser and then check it again. You can access this by pressing the following keys:

 

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
  • Control + Option + P (Safari).

 

If you're successful in sending your details, clear the cache in your regular browser, or else use another supported browser instead. Sometimes too much cache data in your web browser might unexpected behavior with the product. Performing these troubleshooting steps should fix the issue right away.
