Thanks for sharing your concern on the QuickBooks Community page, @ecarrillo1983.
For me to provide you with the right troubleshooting steps, can you share where exactly you're unable to preview the PDF? Any additional info would be much appreciated.
Please add your details to this thread and I'd be happy to help you out. Have a good one.
When about to email an estimate this pops up:
”PDF preview is unavailable with this template. You’re using an old template. Print or download the pdf to view it.”
It’s the same template and format I have always used.
Hi there, @VonGecko.
Let me provide you with troubleshooting steps so you'll be able to preview an estimate before sending it to your customer.
I suggest accessing your QuickBooks account via a private or incognito window to check if this is a browser-related issue. At times, data stored for a long period causes unusual behavior in the browser. Doing so helps disable the cache from saving your browsing data.
You can use either of these keyboard shortcuts:
If it works, go back to the regular browser and clear its cache. This is done to clear them out periodically to prevent and fix web issues.
Once done, I suggest updating the Adobe Reader/Acrobat. The majority of printing or previewing PDF issues in QuickBooks Online can be resolved by updating Adobe Reader/Acrobat to the latest version or by repairing your Adobe installation. You can check the Adobe website for detailed instructions.

I have already reached out for support from you because your software has ongoing issues. Then you state you know there is a problem but want the me…the customer to reach out further.
It would be good for you guys to handle the list of things you ask the customer to do when your software is the problem.
1. You can put my name on your list,
2. You can chat with somebody about resolving the issue.
3. You can contact me when you have the answer
I am having the same problem suddenly. I have always been able to preview estimates and invoices on my phone, screenshot them, and text them to my customers on the fly. I do this constantly as I most often do not have my customers' emails. Please fix this! I don't understand why this feature is suddenly not working.

Why can’t we just go back to the old setup! Even getting customer signatures is a pain with the new layout
Are we still not able to resolve this quickbooks??
Yes, the issue has been resolved, @danorion. Let me help you out on how to work this out.
To fix this, you'll need to ensure you're using the Modern design to preview your PDF successfully. To do so, here's how:
Once done, you’ll be able to see the PDF view option at the top of your invoice page.
If you’re already using the Modern design and still can't preview your PDF, please contact our support team. They have the tools and expertise to investigate this issue further.

great.. thank you for the resolution. If anyone else has the same problem, be sure to make the template change in the browser version on QBO and not on your mobile app.
Mobile apps overall still have a lot of cleaning up to do so for those deciding to use quickbooks, don't expect everything to be perfect, even some of the basic stuff.
You're welcome, @danorion.
