prevent employees from seeing online stub before Payroll is submitted.

How can I fix it so that my employees can not see their checks on WORKFORCE until after I have submitted Payroll? I don't like them being able to see their checks before I submit payroll.
I do not think they should be able to see their online stubs until after I submit payroll
I have used Intuit Online Payroll since 2009. (it used to be paycyle) I recently learned that my employees can see their payroll before I submit it. This is not good for many reasons. I often enter payroll hours several days before I submit and then sometimes comeback and change hours or modify deduction. Just recently one of my employees thought he was getting two checks because he viewed it on Monday and i modified check on Wednesday and submitted on Thursday so he thought he was getting the check he saw on Monday AND the check he saw on Wednesday. He didnt realize it was the same check.

Hi LDO,

Your employees can only access their pay stubs after you've approved their payroll. However, if you have deleted or negated a paycheck, both the original and the negated check will be available on the Workforce.

A negated check will usually display a negative net amount resulting in a net-zero payroll. Whereas, deleted checks will be removed from the Workforce.

Here's an article for additional information about employees' access to paystubs: Invite Employees To Access Paystubs, W-2s And Time Sheets Online.

You might want to check this article for more information about editing an unapproved paycheck: Change An Employee Paycheck.

If you there's anything else that you need to know about payroll, post a reply on this thread. I'll always be here be right here to help.
