The new quickbooks online payroll doesn't export paychecks and tax payments to my Mac Desktop like the Intuit Online payroll used to. (Even though it has the option).

Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm here to share some information about the issue with the export paychecks and tax payments to your Mac Desktop.
If you are using our Standalone Payroll Product, you are able to export your payroll transactions into either QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop for Windows (IIF).
The option, for now, is to export to QuickBooks Windows or you can use the test account then from DT to Mac you will need an app to export.
Also, there's actually a way you can export your individual tax payment from QBOP.

Exactly what I am looking at - I do not see the option to put a check mark in the box of what I need to export anymore - I am now seeing a message saying 941 amount will be debited tomorrow. Did something move/change?

I'll be adding additional information about exporting tax payments from QuickBooks Online Payroll.
The steps shared by my colleague above works in the Standalone Payroll product. With that, I'd like to confirm what QuickBooks Payroll service you're currently using. This helps us figure out the best way to export your data.
Since you're not seeing the option to put a checkmark in the box of what you need to export as provided above, you can follow with these steps to accomplish the process of exporting the selected tax payments:

On the other hand, if you're using the Standalone Payroll, under the Tax resources is an option to view the Tax payment history. Once you select that, you'll be choosing the correct date range for the report. Then, you'll need to click the Run report to get all the list of all the tax payments. Afterward, you'll have an option to click the checkboxes on the left-hand edge. Then, click Export to Accounting.
If still, you're not able to tick some boxes for the selected tax payments, you can perform some basic troubleshooting steps. You can log in from there to see if it's working. Follow the shortcut keys below:
If it works, go back to a regular browser and clear the cache. A piled cache can also be the reason for some unexpected issues on the opened pages.
About the prompt message or notification for the 941, the system reminds you when to debit for the 941 amount.
