1099 NEC

I am running QB desktop for Mac 2020 and have checked to make certain that I have installed all updates, and it says that I am current (R11). I am printing 1099's and have found that QB has not updated the 1099 NEC to the new IRS form of three per page. The program still prints two per page as in prior year. Is there a fix for this?

1099 NEC

Hello there, mkraymer.

QuickBooks Desktop for Mac already have the latest releases for 2022 and 2021 now support printing 1099s. Updates for 2019 and 2020 are in the works and will be released as soon as possible. Meantime, you'll want to manually fill out their 1099s that have three tax forms per page.

I'm adding these articles for further details about the 1099-NEC FAQs and various updates in QBDT.

Let me know if you have other questions. I'm always here to help.

Is this 3 forms per page going to available for my QB 2019 any time before the end of January?

Joining the thread to share some updates about your forms, @robwolo.

You're on the right track, printing the forms NEC 1099 is now in 3 forms per page respectively. You don't have to worry, our kit is available letting you print them according to the number of pages you need.

I'm adding this article to learn more about the kit: QuickBooks Pre-Printed 1099 Kits.
