Join nowClient had Desktop QB 2021 and they subscribed to the new subscription series in 2022 and 2023, however, their QB Desktop program still shows QB 2021. Why does it not show 2023 if that is what they subscribed to and they upgraded the program to? Do they need to download the new QB 2024 (when the time comes) separately from their current QB program?
Don't confuse Update and Upgrade. You can only find the Update button in your QB Desktop program to install the latest patch (i.e. Release version). But you have to install each year version separately (i.e. 2022 or 2023). You can run QB Desktop 2021 and other versions simultaneously if needed. Login to your CAMPS to check your licensing codes.

Good day. I have been using QB Premier Accountant 2020 since 2020, bought from Easybiz based in South Africa. There is regretfully no Desktop support avaiable in SA anymore. My server on which the software has been installed is crashing. i have purched a new PC and would to to run the package from this new PC. Do i need to deactivate the old one to be able to intsall it on the new one? The product number is showing "invalid".
You have QB Desktop 2020 UK version, correct?
You need to call Intuit Support in UK and ask them the activation code. If they refuse, you may consider using the trial version of QB Desktop 2020 or 2021 as a workaround.
