2022 & 2023 QB Desktop subscription upgrade

Don't confuse Update and Upgrade. You can only find the Update button in your QB Desktop program to install the latest patch (i.e. Release version). But you have to install each year version separately (i.e. 2022 or 2023). You can run QB Desktop 2021 and other versions simultaneously if needed. Login to your CAMPS to check your licensing codes.

Trying to install QB2024 upgrade from 2023 and need product number. I know my license.

Good day. I have been using QB Premier Accountant 2020 since 2020, bought from Easybiz based in South Africa. There is regretfully no Desktop support avaiable in SA anymore. My server on which the software has been installed is crashing. i have purched a new PC and would to to run the package from this new PC. Do i need to deactivate the old one to be able to intsall it on the new one? The product number is showing "invalid".

You have QB Desktop 2020 UK version, correct?

You need to call Intuit Support in UK and ask them the activation code. If they refuse, you may consider using the trial version of QB Desktop 2020 or 2021 as a workaround.

Typically, when installing QuickBooks Desktop to a new computer, it is not necessary to deactivate the old program in the server. To find the license number and product code, simply press the F2 key inside QuickBooks on the old server.

Furthermore, if you bought QuickBooks Desktop from our website, you can check your purchase confirmation email for your license number and product code. However, if you can't find them, you can sign in to your Customer Account Management Portal to get them. Here's how to sign in:

1. Go to camps.intuit.com.
2. Sign in with your Intuit Account info. This could be different from what you use to sign in to your company file.
3. If you see multiple products to choose from, select QuickBooks Desktop (with the specific year version) to go to CAMPs.

Also, as your other computer with the original QuickBooks Desktop program is faulty, I suggest creating a backup ahead of time to avoid data loss. After saving the backup file to the flash drive, verify the integrity and completeness of the backed-up data. Ideally, you'll need to move it to your local hard drive first.

I am also having this problem. I have gone through all of these steps and still the file is not updating. I am at a standstill until I can get help with this problem.

Here's how:

1. Open QuickBooks.
2. Go to Help and then select QuickBooks Desktop Help/Contact Us.
3. Choose Contact Us.
4. Provide a brief description of your issue, and then click Continue.
5. Sign in to your Intuit account, select Continue, and then Continue with my account.
6. You'll receive a single-use code via email. Enter the code and select Continue.
7. Choose to Chat with us or Have us call you.
