Adding Contractor License Number to standard invoice template

How can I add a fixed text to invoice template that shows my company License Number & how do I define placement of the new test?

Adding Contractor License Number to standard invoice template

Hi there, Kravdave.

I'm here to lend a hand in customizing your invoice.

You can add a custom field to show your company license number. And manually enter them every time you create an invoice.

To add a custom field, here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Select Custom fields.
  3. Click on the Add field button.
  4. Enter the Company License Number in the Name box.
  5. Put a checkmark on the All Sales forms and turn on Print on form.
  6. Click Save.

Once done, you can create an invoice with the license number of your company. For more details on personalizing your sales forms, see this article: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

As for your other concern, can you add more details about defining the placement of the new test you're referring to? This is to be sure we're on the same page. Any extra information is much appreciated.

For future help, see this resource for steps in recording payments: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.

If you have any further concerns, feel free to reach out. Have a great day!

Adding Contractor License Number to standard invoice template

I have the same issue.  It is not going to work for me to enter that information on every invoice. What if i forget? It is illegal for me to not have it, and this puts me in a position that i dont want to be in.
