I have tried to connect my QBSE with Amazon through the 'labs' and it just wont work.

I want to import my amazon purchases into my transactions... I downloaded the .csv for my purchases and attempted to import them

WHY DO THEY GO INTO A CASH account and why doesn't it import them all?

I want to cry.

Good day, thepincushionoxford.

When you connect to Amazon, you'll view a few orders at first. No worries, we're still working to bring more transactions.

All imported file will fall to the cash account. If you want a different account, you'll have to connect the other one.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Import.
  3. Click Import import older transactions under the specific account name, then click Browse.

This way, our system will not read the transactions as cash transactions.

You can refer to this article about the integration process: Amazon integration with QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Amazon

Hi Kristine,

I'm having an issue where I try to connect my Amazon and it gets stuck loading.
I enter in the captcha, and I get to a page saying Amazon will send me additional verification. I click ok, and I get stuck in a loop where it just says "Connecting to Amazon...".

Every once in a while, it will stop and cancel and it says verify my Amazon information. I've double checked and confirmed I am entering the right email and password.

Any suggestions?

Thank you for joining the thread, @framedbyaustin

To resolve this, try reconnecting your Amazon from Labs. Here's how to do it:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and then click on Labs.
  2. Locate Connect to Amazon and then choose to Reconnect.

However, if you're still having an error, I suggest reaching out to QBSE customer support. They have the tools to further check what's causing this error with this new feature and help you resolve it.

Here's how to reach them:

  1. From your QBSE homepage, click the Assistant button at the top.
  2. On the QB Assistant page that appears, type Talk to Support in the chatbox and then click enter.
  3. You'll now provided with options on how to reach them.
  4. Follow the remaining prompts to contact them.
