Automatic build assemblies

When building assemblies you can use the check mark to auto build nested assemblies.

Question if I change the quantity of the assemble being built that has nested assemblies will the nested assemblies change also?

Automatic build assemblies

Thank you for getting back, @JBEL.

QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online (QBO) are two different applications. The QBO is cloud-based and users can access QuickBooks reports wherever they have Internet access and from multiple devices. The QBDT version is linked to the computer, it is installed on, and you can use it offline.

With QBDT Enterprise, here's an article you can read more about inventory assembly: Track the products you manufacture.

On the other hand, you can review the topics from this link for more hints about QuickBooks and managing inventory: Find help articles for QuickBooks Desktop.

If you have any other questions about assembly, please let me know by adding a comment below. I'm always here to help. Keep safe!

Automatic build assemblies

Hi there, JBEL.

Building assembly or Inventory Assembly feature is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online. You'll want to use a third-party app that offers inventory assembly and sync it with your QBO account. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Apps menu, then proceed to the Find Apps tab.
  2. Click Browse category and select Track Inventory

If you're referring to bundles, check out these articles for more details:

I would love to help you, but I just need additional details about your concern. In QuickBooks Desktop, you'll have to manually build the products after you set up all the parts and add them to the bill of materials. May I know If you're using a third-party inventory management app to automate the process? Any extra info will be greatly appreciated.

Looking forward to your reply. Happy Holidays!
