Bank account is not loading from Bank of America, it's showing an error. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

I tried syncing both Bank of America bank options (normal and business connect) neither work.

Hi there, @richy-houstonitd. I'll help you with getting your Bank of America entries to be loaded to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If I may ask, may I know the specific error message showing up when trying to sync your bank entries? This way, I could look into this further and check for any open investigations.

In the meantime, you can update your bank manually to refresh the connection between your bank and QuickBooks to get the latest available transactions.

  1. Go to Banking.
  2. Select Update.
  3. If asked, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Then select Continue update.

If you ever see issues or errors, here's how to fix online bank connections.

In case you're getting the same result, you can temporarily upload your bank transactions using an Excel CSV file. This article will guide you through the process: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Once the transactions are added to QuickBooks, you can start categorizing them. Then, reconcile your account to keep your balances in place.

Please keep in touch if you have any other banking concerns. I'm determined to help. Wishing you a good one!

@richy-houstonitd

Utilize the trial version of MT Online to isolate the issue. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed. If the same error persists, there is an ongoing problem at your bank or connection.
