Does anyone know how to bring up just a customer list *Name Only* without any of the jobs that are listed under that customer. I have a really large list and need to have a count of all my customers in my list. I'm trying to just print a list so I can get a count on how many customers I have. I'm currently in Reports-Customer Receivables-Customer Contact List. When I filter I only have Customer checked. It brings up the name but also all the jobs under that name which makes it a long list. Any help would be appreciated!
Hey there, @Amtech.
I'm here to make sure you get your task done in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
I've tried removing the customer jobs from the Customer Contact List report. However, there are no available filters that can remove it from the list.
Although, you can still export this report to an Excel file and filter its content from there. Let me show you how:
Additionally, here's an additional resources that you use in filtering your reports: Customize reports in QBDT.
Let me know if you need further assistance with this. I'm always around to provide answers and clarifications to your questions. Have a great day ahead and take care.
@Amtech Click on the Customize Report button, then the Filters tab. Scroll down to Customer: Job Level. Set the job level to = 0.
You have clicked a link to a site outside of the QuickBooks or ProFile Communities. By clicking "Continue", you will leave the community and be taken to that site instead.
