Deposit page won't load

I'm trying to create a +New -> Bank Deposit

Every other page in the software seems to load but this one just shows a blank screen with the green paper icon hovering around like it's stuck loading.

 

I've deleted all cookies, my entire cache, tried incognito, tried three different browsers and a mobile device *and* two different company accounts and on none of these can I get the page to load.

 

I can't view deposits that were created previously either.

 

Please advise.

Good job in performing the all recommended troubleshooting steps to help isolate the issue about loading your Bank Deposit page in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @Sam De Pasquale.

 

Since you've already exhausted all the possible solutions for this matter, I encourage you to reach out to our Customer Care team this time. They have all the necessary tools to further investigate the cause of this issue and guide you with a fix. This way, you can get back to business in no time. To do this, here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QBO company.
  2. Go to the Help (?) menu.
  3. Select the Search tab.
  4. Click the Contact Us button.
  5. Enter a brief description of your concern in the What can we help you with? field.
  6. Select Continue.
  7. Choose a way to connect (Start a chat or Get a callback). Make sure to initiate contact during support hours.

 

I've attached a screenshot below that shows the last five steps.

Deposit page won't load

I am experiencing the exact same problem within more than one of my clients accounts!!! I think this is a wider problem.

 

I can't click on an existing Deposit to open it, I just get a blank screen with an icon bouncing in the middle of the screen!

I was happening last night too and I was hoping the problem would fix over night, but still experiencing it this morning!

I want to make sure this issue is taken care of, @Business Buddies.

 

One of the possible reasons why your Deposit screen won't load is due to a browser data issue. There are times that the browser store frequently accessed data, thus causing QuickBooks Online (QBO) to act weirdly. If you haven't yet, let's try logging in to your QBO account using a private browser. Press this shortcut key on your keyboard to open a private browser:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

 

Once logged in, go back and try to make a deposit again to double-check. If this works, it means that you need to clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result while using a private browser, I recommend switching to a different one.

 

However, if the issue persists, I recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Support Team. This way, they can further check on this matter and provide additional troubleshooting steps to get this fixed. They can also create an investigation ticket if other users are experiencing the same. After I went to bed and woke up, this issue seemed to have resolve itself.

 

Guessing this was a technical issue on QB's end given the other replies.

 

Hopefully won't reoccur!

Deposit page won't load

This still happens to me on and off. Currently I haven't been able to record a new deposit or view an old one since Tuesday. I've tried in a private window and I get the same thing - the page appears to load, but the little loading animation keeps playing, and I can't click on anything, I can't even go back to the home screen, I just have to close the tab.

I've checked our records and there's no reported case about this one. We can also use supported, up-to-date browsers to roll out the possibility of a browser-related issue. If this behavior continues, we can add QuickBooks Online (QBO) as a trusted site to your browser. The security of your device can prevent the program from working.

 

If the same thing happens, I recommend contacting our Support team to investigate this further. They have the necessary tools that can determine the root cause of the issue.

 

  1. Select the Help menu.
  2. Click Contact us
  3. Enter '' not able to record deposit'' in the field and select Continue
  4. Choose a way to connect with us.

I've had the exact same problem fir a week now. Tried different computers. There is no fix. If you're luck it will simply start working again.

Thanks for posting here, @tclark13. I can see that you did everything you could to fix the bank deposit issue in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I'm here to provide further info about this. 

 

I appreciate you sharing updates about the steps you've performed. Currently, there's an ongoing investigation (INV-77630) about the bank deposit page not loading in QBO. 

 

In the meantime, you can create a bank deposit on the Chart of Accounts page. Let me guide you on how:

 

  1. In your QBO account, select the Accounting menu.
  2. Look for the bank account where the deposit should be recorded and select the View register button.
  3. Once opened, click the drop down arrow beside Add check and choose Deposit.
  4. Fill in the needed info and select Save.

Then, to get updates about the investigation via email, I recommend reaching out to our Customer Care team. They use specific tools to link your account to the issue. Please check out this link for a detailed guide: QuickBooks Online Support.

Thank you so much, Divina_N!  I am a total novice at this and was pretty sure I'd screw up your instructions but my deposits went in perfectly!  No idea what's up with the bank deposit page but this works just as well!  Thanks again!  Tom

Deposit page won't load

The problem is still affecting me so I'm glad there's an investigation happening. We record thousands of payments a month through a few different platforms (deposited into "undeposited funds") and then we manually group them into deposits as the money is transferred from those platforms to our bank account. This is the process I'm not able to do right now. Recording deposits directly from the bank register, like you mentioned, doesn't seem to allow me to select any existing payments, unless I'm missing something.

I've posted about this same issue in the past, and now it's occurring again.  My bank deposit page won't load.  Hoping QuickBooks fixes this soon!

Deposit page won't load

I also have been having problems with pages not loading in QBO.

It is not limited to Deposit page, it also includes Customers & Vendors.

Very frustrating and time consuming.  I've followed all recommendations as clearing out

caches and still no luck.

I have been having this same problem for 3 weeks. Talked to Tech Support twice. None of my devises will let me make a deposit.  They said they are working on it.    Starting to get in Panic Mode      Done every thing possible on my end ???

Deposit page won't load

Having the same issue already 2 weeks, was already spending hours and hours on the phone with intuit, noting waa solved.

The deposit window is frozen cant do anything there even can't close or go back.

I wonder if it will ever get solved????
