Desktop 2019 end-of-support

I use QB Desktop 2019 and found the following notice:  Discontinuing Desktop 2019 support I also just paid my yearly support fee.

My question 1:  Do I have support for the Desktop 2019 or not?  If something happens to my DB can I expect QB to support me and assist in fixing whatever the problem is?

My question 2:  Also, will there be any additional "updates" to the desktop 2019 program after 1 June 2022?

I don't use anything online; I don't use add-on modules.

Desktop 2019 end-of-support

Yes, the notice is correct, @DesktopUser86. I’ll answer your questions one by one and clarify the details about the discontinuation policy of QuickBooks Desktop 2019.

Since you mentioned that you’re not using any add-on services, your software will continue to function normally. However, you won't be able to register for any Intuit services that integrate with QuickBooks Desktop, including live technical support. This means our representatives won’t be able to assist you with any issues you may have.

You can check on this article to learn more about the process: QuickBooks Desktop service discontinuation policy and upgrade information.

In addition, no security updates or fixes will be provided for discontinued versions. To protect your account, I recommend avoiding emails that ask you to click on unknown URLs or websites (pertaining to the wrong discontinuance details). You can read through this reference to identify and learn how to handle those fake or phishing emails: Identify suspicious activity and phishing scams

If you're interested to upgrade to a newer version of QuickBooks, you’ll want to upgrade to QBDT Pro Plus, Premier Plus, or Enterprise 2022. Please take note that these are subscription-based.

Furthermore, check out these articles to learn how the new QBDT 2022 benefits your business:

If you have additional questions about the discontinuation policy or any QuickBooks-related topics, you can always add them in your reply. I'm always here ready to back you up. Stay safe.

Just to be clear; you said "This means our representatives won’t be able to assist you with any issues you may have."

I take this to mean that, if I have a problems with my file and call in, no one will be able to assist?  If this is so, what do I get with my paid support (paid June 2022)?

@DesktopUser86

How did you pay for it? Did you receive your bill from unauthorized support?
