Hello,

I wanted to ask Quickbooks themselves but I can’t get anyone on the phone. I also googled this email and I found a page from Intuit showing me which emails they have that are legit, but I just wanted to double check this email and make sure it’s legit:

Intuit_Inquiry at intuit dot com

I think it’s a fake email account, can anyone confirm that?

Thanks!

There are several ways on how you can get in touch with our support team, Johnnylarios1993.

But before we proceed, you can check out these email addresses that Intuit uses when communicating to its customers. You'll want to report to Intuit Online Security Center if verified that the email address you found isn't a legitimate email.

On the other hand, you can leave your number and we'll get back to you shortly. To do this, follow the steps below on how you can connect to one of our customer support team.

  1. Open QuickBooks.
  2. Go to Help, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Select Contact Us.
  4. Give a brief description of your issue, then select Let's talk, and then choose a way to connect.

Also, phone support may be limited due to volume. You'll want to contact our support team again if you're unable to get in touch with anyone. You can message us if you're unable to get into your product.

For reference, you can read these helpful articles to get additional information about QuickBooks.

You can always let me know if you have any other concerns about contacting our support. We are always right here to assist you anytime whenever you encounter problems and issues with QuickBooks. Have a great day ahead and stay safe!

Thank you, Maria,

That's the exact blog post I read, and that email isn't on that blog post.

As you mentioned, I did reach out, and she said this email is part of your team, but I still think it's not because of how unprofessional it looks.

The lady did not forward me the bank's email in question; she sent a screenshot of it instead. I requested to talk to them over the phone, and they keep ignoring my requests, and there's no signature from the person nor your company at the bottom of the emails.

Hello there, @FigureFour13.

Let me share additional information about the most common email address that we used in sending email notifications to you.

Here are the most common email addresses we are using:

Also, we are committed to making sure that your account is secured. That being said, we never include screenshots of your bank nor ask for your banking information or credit card information in an email. I'd recommend forwarding the email that you've received to our Online Security Center. This way a security specialist can further look and verify its validity.

  1. Go to the Online Security Center page for more information.
  2. Scroll down to the Security Alerts box.
    • It shows current and reported security alerts associated with scam emails.

Also, you can follow these steps to make sure that the email you got from Intuit about your account is real.

  1. Sign in to your Intuit Account.
  2. Go to "Sign In & Security."
  3. Find “Account Activity”.
  4. Choose “View.”.

If you find an event with an email icon matching the content, date, and time of the email you’re not sure about, you’ll know the email is from Intuit. You may also see a reference code you can match to the email.

Keep me posted if you have other questions by clicking the Reply button below. I'm always here to help.

Hello there, FigureFour13. Thanks for getting back to us.

Yes, you're right that the Account Activity only shows your login activities.

We have a list of official email addresses that we use to communicate with our customers. Also, you can check this article and see if it comes from one of our official email addresses: Receive important email messages from Intuit. You can see our official email addresses in the section labeled Intuit's service email addresses

If the email doesn't belong to the listed addresses, please don't click any links from the email and forward it to spoof@intuit.com. We'll then review the email for you.

Also, you might want to read this article about how we keep our customers' data and privacy secured in QuickBooks Payments: Prevent Fraud and Identity Theft - QuickBooks Payments.

If you need anything else, we're always here to back you up. Have a great day.

Ok great! Thank you for the help!

The email address that sent me that email is not in that link you sent me and not in the first link that was sent to me. I’m going to assume that it’s a phishing email.

Because it’s saying that a bank is asking for the recipients bank information. I believe I’m the recipient.

what do you guys think?
