We are currently faced with a QuickBooks error that is causing a user to restart the program. The code on the unrecoverable error message is 1407043851 47688. From the QBwin.log file, the last entry is: senderrorapis.cpp (405) : MESSAGE: 24128: Wed Mar 30 12:04:49 LVL_ERROR--QuickBooks has experienced a problem and must be shut down, ErrorCode:1256530728.
Any idea what this means and how we can resolve this? The generic troubleshooting pages were less than helpful in pinning down the specific issue to address.

To begin, ensure your QuickBooks Desktop is up to date. Then create a backup of your company file before we can start the troubleshooting steps below.
Now, suppress the Desktop while starting QuickBooks.
Then, suppress the Desktop while opening a Company File.
