Here is a link. They are hiding it and trying to force the horrible online service. 2 out of 3 calls to the sales number will get people lying that they don't sell it anymore. The company will probably be out of business in 5 years due to how poorly they managed this while simultaneously tanking their tech support. Have you ever given so much money to a company that hates you so much? It's baffling how they think this is going to work out in the long term.

Be aware that they are intentionally bugging the desktop version now - the worse it works, the more likely you will be to settle for online. Planned obsolescence from a company that truly hates its customers.
I suggest avoiding using that link to purchase a new license. Many of our clients did not receive their license codes and it was difficult to contact Support. In the end, they blamed our clients who used the link and they had to ask for a refund. Better yet contact their sales team or purchase a new license through a reputable partner.
Is there anywhere I can buy a 2023 or 2024 boxed copy of Quickbooks Premiere Edition?
They no longer offer a retail edition (boxed edition). You can purchase a new license via partner and get $100 cashback.
Which partner?
You can send emails to @Fiat Lux - ASIA for details.
QuickBooks 6 did not get released until 2003. Also, stating that QBO is useless is just an uneducated opinion. You have not worked in QBO or you would not say this. It is an awesome program, and much easier to use than Desktop. If you think Sage will be easier than QBO, you will be very disappointed. There is no corrected journal entries in Sage. You have to reverse the incorrect and re enter. It gets pretty crazy if you posted a journal entry incorrect. I would never use Sage again. No other accounting software compares to Intuit.
Meow.
RE: QuickBooks 6 did not get released until 2003.
That is not correct. QuickBooks 6 preceded QuickBooks 99 - which was released late in 1998.
RE: Also, stating that QBO is useless is just an uneducated opinion. You have not worked in QBO or you would not say this.
I have worked with QuickBooks Online and I think it is a steaming pike of uselessness. That is my educated opinion.
RE: It is an awesome program, and much easier to use than Desktop.
I have the reverse experience. Desktop is much easier to use.
But, it is a novelty to find someone here who actually likes QuickBooks Online. So, that's kind of special!
New Features in QuickBooks 6.0
QuickBooks 6.0 introduced several new features, including:
Migration of QuickBooks 6.0 Data
If you’re currently using QuickBooks 6.0 and want to migrate your data to a newer version, you may be able to do so. However, it’s essential to check the compatibility of your data with the newer version before making the transition. You can contact Intuit support for guidance on migrating your data.
Conclusion
QuickBooks 6.0 is an older version of the accounting software, but it still offers many features that can be useful for small to medium-sized businesses. If you’re currently using QuickBooks 6.0, you may want to consider upgrading to a newer version to take advantage of additional features and improved functionality.
Nothing catty about what I said. She gave her opinion......I gave mine.
RE: QuickBooks 6.0 is a version of the accounting software developed by Intuit Inc. It was first released in 2003 and is designed for small to medium-sized businesses. Here are some key features and facts about QuickBooks 6.0.
You can keep posting that, but it doesn't make it correct. As I noted in my last post, QuickBooks 6.0 was released in 1998, before QuickBooks 99.
See Intuit's QuickBooks 6.0 press release, dated Aug 1, 1998: https://www.proquest.com/docview/[removed]?sourcetype=Trade%20Journals
lol. And you can keep saying it. Doesn't make it right. If someone google searches it, it come up with the correct date.
RE: If someone google searches it, it come up with the correct date.
Yes, in 1998.
Got a link to your alternate facts?
Wow. I copied and pasted them earlier. You show me where it came out in 1998. Actually, unless you are a QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certified, I'm done with you. You are not experienced enough with QBO to be giving advice to anyone.
I stand corrected and apologize. Upon more research there is a press release stating that a QuickBooks Pro 6.0 was released in late June 1998. I will always admit when I am wrong.
Your years of experience with QB Desktop does not, however, give you the knowledge to give your opinion of QBO without the classes offered on training or being a ProAdvisor and truly knowing everything QBO can do. I just recertified as a Certified Advanced QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor last week and am excited at the new things QBO is able to do just in the last year since my last recertification. It is continually changing just like our world of technology is. Unfortunately, everything is going to online, not just Intuit. It is reality. Take the free training that Intuit offers and learn the ins and outs of QBO, and you will see. And as for your previous remark that I am but a few........totally incorrect. All of us who took advantage of the free training knows how QBO works and knows it is much better than Desktop. Desktop is yesterday. QBO is tomorrow.
