How do I change my self employed account to a limited company account?

Hi susanamankwa-gma,

QuickBooks Self-Employed is not changeable. There's no other version for this subscription.

You may want to consider QuickBooks Online. You can choose a plan and start fresh as a new entity.

If you have other questions in mind, feel free to go back to this thread.

An Intuit help article implies that there IS another version though...?

Fill out a W-9 and view your 1099-MISC in QuickBooks Self-Employed

by QuickBooks129Updated July 16, 2021

Ask your employer or client to  invite you to fill out your W-9. If you already have a QuickBooks Self-Employed account, ask them to send the invite to the email address you use to sign in. If you don't have an account, you can create a limited QuickBooks Self-Employed account just for your forms.

Thanks for joining in this conversation, @512Valerie.

QuickBooks Self-Employed is for the self-employed business owners or contractors.

It also serves as a tool where they can fill out a W-9 and view your 1099-MISC  in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

You can also visit this link to get more insights about how QBSE works: QuickBooks Self-Employed Overview.

Feel free to post again if you have additional concerns. I'm always here to guide you more.
