This can be accomplished in a few steps, awoljoe. I'll show you how to change your verification from email to phone number.
You'll need to log in to your Intuit Account or go to accounts.intuit.com to change the account credentials. From there, you can add your phone number or update it, so the verification will go to the phone number you've entered.
Here's how to do it:
- Next to the Gear icon at the top, click the Profile icon.
- Select Manage your Intuit Account.
- Go to the Sign-in & security.
- Choose the Phone section, then click Add Phone or hit Change if you want to update.
- Change the phone number and enter your password.
- Once done, hit Save.
- Select how you want to confirm your contact information by selecting the following: Text message or Voice call, then choose Continue.
- Confirm by entering the code, then select Done.
For more details on how to change your Intuit Account credentials, see this article: Update or change your Intuit Account sign-in information.
Also, if you turn on the two-step verification, updating the phone number connected to your Intuit Account automatically turns off this feature. You can turn it back on with your new number. Just open this link and proceed to Turn on the two-step verification process: Verify your Intuit Account with multi-factor authentication or two-step verification.
