The Purchase Order Button is not enabled within Estimate

I'll help you sort things out. You'll need to get the latest release update of your QuickBooks Desktop. This way, you'll keep your software up-to-date, so you'll always have the latest features and fixes.
Here's how:
When the update finishes, close and reopen QuickBooks Desktop. Then select Yes to install the updates. Once done to install, restart your computer.

I did the updated and it still doesn't work

I am determined to help you create a Purchase Order from an Estimate in QuickBooks Desktop.
Since updating the software release version did't work, let's try running the Verify and Rebuild Utility Tool this time. This can traces common data damage within your company file.

Once done, you'll be seeing the Create Purchase Order option in your Estimate. Please see attached screenshot below:
If the above steps doesn't work, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Support. They have the tools to conduct a deeper investigation so you'll able to copy an estimate to a purchase order in QuickBooks.
