One of the oldest functions of business and business computing is the ability to print addresses on envelopes. I have been doing this in MS Word since Windows 95. For the past 23 years, I have easily been able to print envelopes out to hundreds of customers using Word's mail merge function with an excel database of customer addresses. But why should I have to keep a separate database of address to do this, if all of this data is already in QB. I find it difficult to believe that in 2018 the leading Desktop business software in the world cannot do this simple function which had been essential to business for the last 100 years.
Can some tell if QB can do this? I want to print out envelopes for all customers that had transactions in excess of $500 in 2018. How do I do this?
P.S. I don't want to print Packing slips or address labels. I want to print out Envelo
Thank you for your feedback,Victor.
We're unable to determine transaction balances by printing windows envelope. I'd suggest running an Open Invoice report and sort the transactions per balance and in descending order. That way, you can easily determine the which exceed $500 and which do not. Then, you can open them to print windows envelope (Print > Envelope).

I agree!! Our company likes to send out flyers / Christmas cards and now we can not do it. It seems like a simple feature that should be fixed.
I agree!! Our Company likes to send out Flyers / Christmas cards etc. this feature should have been added along time ago.
I use quickbooks desktop for accountant 2020. File > Print > Envelope is not an option. How do you print customer address directly on an envelope? We do not use window envelopes.
Thanks for joining us here, @Michelle52.
We're unable to print customer's address directly on an envelope. I highly recommend checking third party apps that integrate with QuickBooks.
Also, you may want to consider creating custom fields in QuickBooks. This way, you'll be able to capture specific customer, vendor, employee, product, and service details.
You're always welcome to drop by if you have any other QuickBooks questions. I'll be around to help.
Sorry to inform you. You will not get any help here, unless it comes from other users. As you can see from Charlene's response, they do not even read your question and just give you a list of routine maintenance procedures to follow. Inuit has the absolute WORST online support of any company I have EVER seen. It is an embarrassment to all online businesses everywhere.
You need to get your act together. Make it possible to print addresses from customers list so we can send out Holiday cards!!!!! YOU ASK FOR OVER $600 a year to subscribe, and you can do this simple task!!!!!!!!!
