Thank you. I converted to QB Simple Plan. The conversion went smoothly and everything checked. However, QB Simple Plan does not have the option to show YTD data on the profit and loss statement. I wish I knew that when I choose this plan.

It appears that Dataswitcher only allows transfer of up to 3 years of data. Is there a way to have additional historical years included?
You can utilize an importer tool or purchase a 3rd party service to convert the historical transactions.

HI Andy:
I hope it is OK that I jumped in here. I have been trying to get information on Dataswitcher but have had little (no) luck with QB Support. I was excited to see that you are a Product Director at Dataswitcher.
I want to convert Sage 50 Quantum 2023 to QBO Plus. I have read numerous QB Support pages for all the information regarding what Dataswitcher will and will not convert. Everything sounds great but...
I am reading conflicting information on the QB Support and Community pages. Some comments state that one has to first convert to QB Desktop and then to QBO. Is this true or is this older information?
Also, I understand what Dataswitcher will or will not convert. I still have concerns. Example: The QB Sample Customer Conversion Import Sheet provides fewer fields/headings than my Sage Customer Import Sheet. Fewer fields such as Customer ID (way important) Pricing Levels (important as I have 3 pricing levels, Retail, Wholesale, Church) and extra 5 fields for noting a customers previous ordered items for quick view.
Does the fact that the QBO Customer Conversion Import Sheet not have these fields/headings also mean that the Dataswitcher Conversion tool would not have these fields/headings?
Lastly, I am curious as to why a Google search on Dataswitcher states that the company is in the Netherlands and the links to the website seem to be broken. I was hoping to speak to someone at Dataswitcher but even their social media sites seemed no longer monitored.
I greatly appreciate and guidance and help you can provide for me. TIA! John, Peace
As I know, they don't support to convert data from Sage 50 Quantum 2023 to QBO. You should consider purchasing another 3rd party conversion service to do so.
QB Support says that I can convert Sage 50 2023. Why do you say that I cannot?
Sage 50 to QBO US version, correct?

Product version requirements
Sage 50: You must be using the US edition of Sage 50cloud (formerly Peachtree) 2009 - 2012 or Sage 50 Accounting 2013 - 2017.
Sage 50 2023 is not available. I'm not sure if this information is still valid even though it was updated 2 weeks ago.
Yes. Thanks. I have already read all the information you provide here.
Especially interesting is this info:
Product version requirements
Sage 50: You must be using the US edition of Sage 50cloud (formerly Peachtree) 2009 - 2012 or Sage 50 Accounting 2013 - 2017.
I referred to this when I spoke with QBO Support. They said two things. One is that my 2023 version of Safe 50 should work. Two, they stated that this information from their QB Support page seems odd. Why would only Sage 50 versions between 2009 and 2012 and between 2013 and 2017 work?
Do you have any insight to this? It does not seem logical to me either that only these date ranges would work.
Finally, I went to your website. I did not see where I could inquire about the feasibility and cost of your company helping me with this conversion. I am not sure if we are supposed to include email addresses on this site. But my email is [email address removed]. Perhaps you could email me some additional information.

Hi John,
Thanks for your questions, I'll try to answer them all here.
1. We've recently updated our conversion to support the 2023 version (and have supported v2022 for some time - the document must be out of date).
2. The conversion is directly from Sage 50 Peachtree v2023 to Dataswitcher - there has never been a requirement to move to QuickBooks Desktop first (this may be something Intuit previously offered internally).
3. We don't specifically support the Quantum versions of Sage 50, however many customers have migrated their data with us without issue as the database structure is the same for the other versions. I don't anticipate any issues, however you can always run a "test" conversion first if you're unsure.
4. QB Sample Customer Conversion Import Sheet - we don't use this. Again it must be a legacy Intuit service.
5. Dataswitcher operates globally and is based in the Netherlands. Our URL is https://dataswitcher.com/. Thanks for highlighting that this didn't work - I'll check our links to make sure they're up to date.
Please feel free to private message me here if you would like to discuss further.
Kind regards
Andy
Thank you so much Andy for the prompt and clear reply. I am going to try a test conversion in a few days. I will status you after the test. Thanks again! Peace, John
