Look no further, I’m here to help access your 1099 copy, @luxusequinecare-.

When you switch from QuickBooks Online (QBO) to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), there are features, lists, items, reports, preferences, and transactions that don’t transfer. One of them is your 1099 information. Thus, accessing it within your QBDT company isn’t possible. Please know that in order to move your 1099 vendors, you’ll need to edit and remove their 1099 status in QBO. Then, set them up manually in QBDT to make them eligible for 1099. Check out limitations when you convert from QBO to QBDT to learn more.

You can follow the steps below to enable the feature and to start tracking their payments on the Desktop platform.

Step 1:

  1. Go to the Edit menu and then Preferences.
  2. Select the Tax: 1099 menu, then choose Company Preferences.
  3. Click Yes in the Do you file 1099 forms? section.
  4. Press OK to save your settings.

Step 2:

  1. Go to the Vendors tab, then click on Vendor Center.
  2. Tap on the vendor's name and press the Pencil icon to edit.
  3. Under Tax Settings, mark the box beside Vendor eligible for 1099 section.
  4. Select OK.
  5. Repeat the steps for other vendors.

If your QBO account isn’t canceled yet, you can use it to get and print your filed 1099 for 2022. I’m glad to show you the steps:

  1. Go to Taxes, then select 1099 filings.
  2. Select View 1099.
  3. Open the PDF copy and print.

Otherwise, you’ll need to resubscribe from your QBO account to get your copy. You can also contact our payroll support for assistance if need be. They can help you through the process and ensure it’ll be deactivated after.

I’m adding these resources to learn more about printing 1099 and how to make corrections after you e-filed them:
