Do you have QBD 2021 on your machine?
Yes.
Hello @MariaSoledadG. I'm running into a Groundhog Day problem following your instructions. I appear to be able to update no problem: I download the update, install it and I have a working version of QB2021 ... until I re-start my MacBook Pro. Then as soon as my computer restarts, I get the QB window again telling me to drag the QB icon to the Applications folder - I have to install the update again, every time I restart my computer. BTW, after I've finished the install, a disk icon is left on my desktop labelled "Quickbooks Mac 2021"; if I try to drag it to the trash, then QB stops working (when I click on the icon in my Applications folder, nothing happens). FYI, my MacBook is only 2 years old. P.S. After I've installed QB, the window that opens when I execute Help > Quickbooks Help window is completely blank, so I can't use that to contact your support team. Your advice, please?
I know that this hasn't been easy for you, PRClarity.
I appreciate all the efforts you've put into getting this to work. Since the in-product help feature is no longer functioning on your end, I recommend contacting our Technical Support Team directly through this link: Connect with QB for Mac Support. This way, we can investigate your setup and perform a series of tests to resolve the issue.
Should you encounter any difficulties and uncertainties while setting up your company or working with other areas, please don't hesitate to reach out to me again. Your seamless experience is my top priority.
Did you run QBD 2021 on Sonoma?
Install the trial version of QBD 2022. Did you encounter the same problem?
Can I assume that Sonoma is compatible with QB 2024?
Many of our clients are running QB 2024 on Sonoma. Make sure not to rush into upgrading to Sequoia next week.
Ugh, I can't keep the OS names straight. I meant to say Sequoia
I saw your old post from last year. You shouldn't make the same mistake upgrading macOS next week.
That’s why I asked. So when will it be compatible?
Let the early adopters handle it starting next week and we'll monitor the status.
