It’s my priority to help you get the Tab key to properly work when working with an invoice and estimates in QuickBooks Desktop, @markmaint.
I understand the convenience of using the Tabulator key to advance your navigation in the program. Rest assured that I'll make sure you get the best help to get around with this issue.
Currently, there is a reported issue with using this function when adding lines on invoice. If you have Serial Numbers enabled on Invoices, this behavior may occur. It will usually move to the next line if you tab through the row again. The only way to prevent that from happening right now is to remove the Serial Number column from the Invoice.
As a workaround, you can uncheck the box for Sales Transactions (Invoices, Sales Receipts) under the Serial/Lot Numbers. To do so, follow the steps below:

I tried going to the invoices and estimates tab using our test account and everything worked fine.
I recommend running through some basic troubleshooting methods to see whether you're having issues with your browser. Web problems could happen when the cache is stored for an extended period of time.
To begin, log in to your QuickBooks Online account using a private/incognito page. Let me give you the shortcut keys to open it:
If you're able to access the tabs with ease, kindly go back to the regular browser and clear the cache and cookies. This can fix any unusual browser behavior and help QuickBooks run faster.
If the issue persists, I suggest using another supported browser.

Tried opening through incognito, but still nothing. Every other tab on that line opens immediately accept invoices and estimates
