I would like to join a class action suit as well. They've been holding my $48K+ for over 3 weeks. I reversed 3 of the transactions, but they told me I couldn't reverse the one over $25K. And I've been getting the same company line that everyone else is getting. I'm also going to see if I can get a TV network to look into this. I don't know how they get away with it. They are withholding over $48K of money I earned. They gave me some bullcrap excuses and 15 questions to answer where 10 of them had nothing to do with my money being released. QuickBooks is holding onto any large sums so they can draw interest off of you as long as they can. I'm sure they lobbied congress to make this legal and congressmen and women probably own stock in QuickBooks. Whatever the case... this screws the small business owner big time. I would never in a million years use this process again, nor use QB/Intuit/ or any of their products ever again.
I am also highly interested in a class action lawsuit. Perhaps we could get a group together so that we can bring this in to action?
I am also highly interested in a class action. Anyone interested in joining one can email me.

We will put this together and proceed to pursuing a case. This has been the most frustrating events of my life to deal with.
Same issue here, we have over $200K being held since 12/9/21, there were several open cases associated with this money (Inuit opened several new cases when called) but all but one has been closed now. The one open case has been with their Risk team for over an month without a response and Inuit has closed the chat link (the only way to communicate) with the Risk team from our account, so every time we call customer service they say there is nothing that they can do. We are small business and can't afford to be out this kind of money much longer.
You should have a 3rd party merchant service as backup and don't use QB Payment for the time being until all your pending issues are resolved.
My attorney is initiating a lawsuit now for the $26,000 that they still have on hold since June 2021.
I would also join this class action
Can someone please explain to me why the attached payments have not been released and deposited...some of the most recent ones have been...but the ones shown above haven't...I'm getting a little freaked out about this...where is this money? My clients have paid. Please respond!
I'm glad you reached out to the QuickBooks Community, @Palmer Bio. I can provide some insight about your deposits in QuickBooks Merchant.
After your first payment, we deposit your funds within five business days. While we set up your merchant account, your first deposits will take a little longer. Your funds will be deposited sooner when we've finished, usually within two business days.
Sign in to the Merchant Service Center any time you need to check the status of customer payments.
We'll notify you if a payment is ever put on hold. An email will be sent to the email address you used to sign in to the Merchant Service Center.
As soon as possible, follow the instructions in the email. Once we have everything, we can usually finish our review in two business days. We can complete the payment processing after the review is completed.

Anyone get this figured out?
what about the class action lawsuit!
They are holding 27k for over two weeks now with now reason other than tell us to close our account an re open another one or call your bank and report to turn funds to customer. Still waiting out our bank. This is insane and would not recommend merchant service with them
Please let me know we would like to be added to this lawsuit

You can utilize a 3rd party merchant service to integrate with QB.
We went through this with a $170,000 deposit from our customer. The deposit was made on December 23, 2021. We went back and forth with Intuit, providing documents to them through the resolution center, calling or chatting maybe 20-30 times. We just didn't get anywhere doing these things since you always talk to or chat with someone different. Finally, we had our lawyer draft a letter requesting the funds be returned to our customer. I am including some relevant text from that letter for others to use. I highly suggest going this route ASAP. It still took over a month (and additional followup) to get the funds back to our customer but they did finally go back. In total, it was nearly 3 months before Intuit returned the funds to our customer. I agree with the person who said a news organization should look into this company and this practice of withholding payments. It should be criminal and they should be investigated. I'm exhausted from our experience as it was one of the most stressful things I've dealt with in recent years. Anyway, here is some text you can possibly use in your request to get the money returned. We did also include a timeline of what had been going on along with making the request to return the funds, but I think just making the request will get the ball rolling on getting the money back to your customer. Just post the document as one of the documents they request in the resolution center since there isn't any other way to communicate with them.
"The Terms of Service between [insert company name] and Intuit concerning the Merchant Services account provide that in the event that Intuit elects to review a transaction, Intuit be required to either clear or cancel the transaction. Given that no progress has been made in [insert time frame] to clear this transaction, [insert company name] requests that Intuit cancel the transactions subject to the above request and return the funds to [insert company name] customers whose accounts were debited. [insert company name] will arrange directly with its customers concerning payment and will cease use of Intuit’s electronic payment method.
In the event that Intuit fails to cancel the subject transactions and return the funds to the [insert company name] customer accounts, [insert company name] will file a Notice of Claim against Intuit in accordance with the Terms of Service."
We too are having this issue which is INSANE! So unethical I have worked with Quickbooks as an account for 25 years and suggested this program to my client and we are shocked at the way we are being treated! They won't return the money or release it!
Who has filed the class action and whom do I contact?
Contact the following he was able to help us get the monies returned quickly
Did this get resolved?
Hi there, ApaigeM47.
I understand how important it is to process merchant deposits. Allow me to suggest an alternative method for all of you to review your account transactions quickly.
I'd like to check this for you and get it taken care of myself. However, the Community page is a public forum. That being said, I recommend getting in touch with Merchant Services Team. They'd be able to check your account in a secure environment and help resolve the issue.

What was the outcome of this? Moderators removed the contact for the risk department agent. I am going through the same thing. My business is about to be closed for good without my funds.
I would also be interested in joining any kind of class action against QB. We recently moved our processing over to them and within a couple days they closed our account, seized over $10k of our clients money which was in process and the only explanation they can give is that it was a "business decision". We have not received an answer as to whether we will receive our money back or not, but this has wiped out a large portion of our company's cash. As a small business this has been a devastating experience and they do not seem to be in any hurry to release our funds or pay interest on the cash they are witholding.
Same thing happened to us, but they just told us that it was a business decision and that we would not be getting our money back. This is absolutely criminal and detrimental for our small business. We need to join a class action if one exists.
Same case for me here, They have stuck $1094 and no ones communicate with me
Any luck? How do I join this law suit?
