We use the app on iPads for our staff to show estimates to clients before performing services. However, we can't get the customer list on the left to disappear. Is there a way to show the estimates full screen?
I know how convenient it is to be able to view estimates or invoices using the QuickBooks app, @wing. I have some troubleshooting instructions here so you can work continuously without interruptions.
The cache data that is stored generally causes strange behavior or outcomes. To get this resolved, I recommend resetting the app data in your QuickBooks App. This helps refresh applications and eliminates common issues that cause your screen to freeze. If you haven't tried the following steps, I suggest performing them.
Here’s how:
You’ll also want to clear your cache on your device as well. I’ll show you how:
If the same things happen, we'll have to uninstall and reinstall the mobile app. To accomplish this, refer to this page: QuickBooks Mobile App. You can also scroll down to read FAQs about it.
In the meantime, you'll want to consider logging in to your QuickBooks Online account on a browser. This way, it will help us identify if it is a mobile app issue. From there, you can create the sales forms and show them to your customers.
You'll also want to know more about personalizing them using the QBO mobile app or browser. Just refer to these articles on how to do it:

The screen is not frozen. We just would like the customer list panel on the left to not be shown and have the estimate full screen so that the client we are showing the estimate to doesn't also see our customer list for privacy reasons.
I appreciate you for reaching out to us.
Yes. You can have the Estimate page in a full-screen view and hide the customer list panel when creating estimates in QuickBooks Online (QBO) for iPad, and I'm here to guide you on how.
The list of your customers will appear after selecting the Customer dropdown on the Estimate page. To prevent your other clients from seeing your other customers' names when sending them quotes, I'd recommend deselecting the Customer field.
In addition, the QBO app for iOS makes it simple to attach a note to an existing transaction. This way, you can include descriptions that can be used as proof of tracking, reminders, and other important information.
We'd also appreciate it if you can share a screenshot of your Estimate page so we can visualize your concern and provide a more accurate resolution.
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions about estimates. We'd love to have you back in this thread. Take care, and have a good one!
Running into the same issue. I would like to have a full screen of just the invoice I am working on. As it currently is, the “paid” and “open” invoices are visible to the left of the screen. Sorry tech stuff is not my strong suit so I may be missing some simple setting. Does this configuration not exist? I’m sure there has to be a way.
Thanks,
Ryan
Hello, Ryan.
I get your desire to view the invoice you are working on in full screen. The QuickBooks mobile app includes basic features such as the ability to:
Currently, this can be done through a web browser. I advise logging in through your mobile web browser to utilize all of QuickBooks Online's features. This enables full-screen viewing of your invoice.
I'm also adding this resource to learn more about invoice statuses for your reference: Track the status of invoices in the QuickBooks Online mobile app.

Hi Giovann, thanks for the response. The weird part is I am able to view full screen on my iPhone but not on my iPad. If I understand you correctly, the work around for this fault is to create an invoice o the app. Close the app and then log in through my web browser if I want to see a full screen invoice on my iPad?

As per Giovann's information, the QuickBooks mobile app does not support full-screen viewing of invoices. Nevertheless, you can accomplish this task by using a browser.
If the issue persists, the piled-up cache within the app caused this unusual behavior. You can delete your history, cookies, and cache in Settings on your iPad or iPod touch.
