Opt out of 1900% ACH increase?

QB Payment charges fees for all payment options. Use another processor to accept payment for free.

Opt out of 1900% ACH increase?

I love that they act like they are doing us a favor, worrying about our "cash flow"  I think I can make the decision for myself. I would rather wait a few days for my money and not be paying more for the privilege of getting my money quicker. Now I have been informed they are raising my monthly rate from $40 to $50. That is on top of the increased ACH fees. As soon as I have time I am moving to another accounting software. I have been using QB for around 20 years. Sadly I have recommended QB to other businesses because of the 50 cent ACH fee that is apparently no longer in affect.

Consider switching to QB Desktop with a one time license or another 3rd party accounting app with a lower subscription fee. Keep in mind, after switching to another accounting app, you will still need to use a 3rd party payment processor to accept ACH for free.

Opt out of 1900% ACH increase?

Hi @K_Siman ,

I appreciate that you made a post, but your post does not actually demonstrate that Intuit is listening. This thread is all about people who have made it clear that cash flow is not as important to us as avoiding a 1% fee on our ACH receipts. This thread is about us wanting CHOICE and being angry that a choice was removed from us. You do not acknowledge that. You also do not provide any kind of proof such as results from a survey of small business users that demonstrates that a majority of customers prefer to have NO WAY TO OPT OUT of your ACH fees in exchange for getting their money sooner. I would be willing to bet a large amount of money that were you to do such a survey to "listen to your customers", that an overwhelming majority of customers would say that they would prefer to have an OPTION to EITHER pay 1% for money faster or wait longer for 0%. Very few people are going to chose "Give me no option. Force me to opt in to paying 1% of my revenue to Intuit in order for me to get access to my money in a day instead of waiting 3 days." In fact, I guarantee it. So...why not stop with the disingenuous posts saying that Intuit is listening to our needs and just admit the truth: Intuit needs to find more ways to make money to support the QBO platform and this was the way you chose (versus raising our monthly fees or charging some other fee).

Great idea, you're going to waste a busy small business owners time over 56 cents. How many hours is he going to waste. BS, do your job stop stealing from small business'

Opt out of 1900% ACH increase?

I Just got a returned payment on an ACH payment. Called intuit to ask why the F do i have an ACH payment leaving my account. I thought the point of ACH is to verify. GIVE ME the 5 days back. YOU DONT ADD VALUE.

Im so tired of intuit. Im just going to contact my client that does payment processing and have him take care of me. I'll happily pay the 3% or whatever cost it is. Anything to never give another dollar to intuit.
