I have another way on how you can print the details of an expense, check, or bill, jagrentals-yahoo.
For now, printing the details of a check or bill isn't an option. You can run the Purchases by Product/Service Detail report to see the details on the specific transaction. You can even click the transaction if you want to know what items are included. I've attached a screenshot for the guide.
I've included this article so you'll know most reports that are available in QuickBooks Online (QBO): Reports included in your QuickBooks Online subscription. For your reference, you can also apply multiple filters so you can customize your report. Read this article for more information: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.
Please touch base with us if you have any concerns with printing expense transactions. I'll always be right here to help.
i dont have the "Purchases by Product/Service Detail" under my report section. i just checked my subscription, and i have PLUS.
@MariaSoledadG "For now..."
Does this mean this long overdue option to simply print a batch of payment stubs from vendor bill payments (just like can be done in the desktop versions) is in the works or for this simple-simple task must we direct users to abandon QBO for the feature-rich desktop version? @jagrentals-yahoo you may have to convert to QB desktop to do such a simple thing as print a copy of a stub for a check you already sent, or for where the details are so numerous they will not fit on a standard check voucher.
It's too bad you don't use QB Desktop, where there are two or three easy ways to do this.
1) With the check open, pick Reports | Transaction Journal from the reports menu or the Reports tab at the top of the check.
2) After printing the check (without a voucher), then print again and this time choose the check style that prints on a full page with a voucher, and print it on plain paper:
3) For a Bill Payment check, click Transaction History at the top of the check and then click Print:
Maybe in 10 or 20 years QB Online will add these useful features (they've had 20 years and still haven't...)
