Intuit seemed to change the screen display of the invoices MID-DAY today. And in typical fashion, things didn't work right. I spent an hour with QB Support trying to fix an issue that should have never occurred. And then I am doing invoices tonight, and Delayed Charges and Delayed Credits show up differently now on the Invoices that get sent (the date field isn't there on recurring transactions).
Anyone else seeing issues?
We haven't received similar cases or reports regarding the sudden changes in the invoice display, John. I acknowledge how crucial it is to avoid disruptions, as seamless invoice management is essential for maintaining the efficiency of your business operations.
Before anything else, we can check the invoice template used for your recurring transactions. This could also be why the date fields, including your delayed credit and charges, aren't showing as expected.
If the same thing happens, I recommend contacting our customer care team. I know you've been in touch with our dedicated experts already, but they can further diagnose the reason behind this and provide you with the latest updates on your case.

Hello ShyMae,
See the screen shot below -- this is not how invoices have looked on-screen for at least the last 10 years. I believe a change (unannounced, as far as I know) was rolled out sometime yesterday -- which caused some issues.
Also, as I had stated, I did work with QB Support -- which means I do know how to contact them.
It seems like feedback always falls on deaf ears at Intuit; maybe a splash-screen when folks login telling them what has changed or change log be useful to your millions of users.
We appreciate you taking the time to share more details about your experience with the recent changes to the invoice screen display in QuickBooks Online (QBO), John.
To address the missing date fields on recurring transactions for Delayed Charges and Delayed Credits, we can start by checking your customized templates and ensuring that the date column is included in your transaction.
However, if no changes were made to your custom templates, I recommend reaching out to our QBO support team again. Since these changes appeared without any update reports, our support team may now have the latest information on your case. They could provide valuable insights or updates that weren't available during your previous interaction.
Furthermore, if you want to have pop-up notifications for future updates, you can directly send feedback from your QBO account. Here's how:
Additionally, I'm providing this article to help you learn how to customize the appearance and layout of sales forms: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QBO.
We value your input and are committed to improving your experience with QuickBooks Online. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need further assistance.
