When will Quickbooks 2019 Desktop for MAC compatibility with Big Sur be resolved? I have been waiting for this update. I purchased Quickbooks 2019 Desktop for MAC just over a year ago and really don't want to pay for another Quickbooks upgrade.
Thanks for getting in touch with us today, @b99nafus,
We acknowledge the urgency of having QuickBooks for Mac 2019 to support the MacOS Big Sur. At the moment, we don't have any communication on when our engineers will release the update patch for you to download on your computer.
QuickBooks Mac versions 2020 and 2021 are already compatible with Big Sur. We will wait for the official announcement on when this will be released for your version.
Our developers are working internally to get this available in no time. The alternatives you can temporarily try is to install QuickBooks in a Mac PC that has not yet updated to Big Sur or roll back to an older MacOS version. Please note that these are completely optional until the update is released.

Data is verified but no luck opening the file. I get the same message. I can open older backups, but not the most recent.
I'll provide a way you can open QuickBooks, Fretking.
You can move your original company file to a different directory, then proceed to open it in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac. If the issue persists, you can restore the backup company file you mentioned.
