I have QuickBooks Desktop for Mac 2019.
Whenever I open and use the program, it always backs up prior to shutting down.
Today something weird happened and QB is no longer backing up.
I've opened and closed QB several times and get the same error message.
I've attached the image with the error message I get.
Please help!
Thanks.

Hello there, @desktopmacmastery. Let me get you back in business today by sorting this out.
To resolve the QuickBooks Company File Backup error, let's run the Verify and Rebuild Data tool that helps identify and repairs data issues within your company file. Here's what you'll need to do:
To start, use the verify tool to scan your company file for errors or damage:
If you see a message “Your data has failed the integrity check”, rebuild your company file. If there are no problems with your data, you’re done.
To rebuild your data:

Please let me know how things go on your end. I want to ensure this gets resolve for you. Take care.
I have the same issue. I have verified and rebuilt, tried to save backups to a different location, and even deleted old backups to make more room. Nothing worked. I know there was a bug regarding this issue that was fixed in 2015. (the image disk was not large enough for the data.) Could there be a new problem with QB Mac Desktop 2019? Thank you!

Hi there, @suzieharts.
I appreciate you for performing some steps to fix this issue when saving backup in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.
Let me provide more troubleshooting steps to help isolate this matter so you can create a backup successfully.
There are few possible reasons for this error message when creating a backup. It could be that the backup location is no longer accessible. If it's the case, it would be best to unmount then remount the drive. Once done, you can reboot your computer.
After that, you can create a backup again. However, if the problem continues, I'd recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Team. They have the tools that can help identify the root cause of this hurdle.

I too, am having the same can't back up problem in QB for Mac 2020. I cannot navigate past the initial Help screen. No place to choose "contact me". My back ups are set to back up every close onto iCloud. Worked flawlessly for years, then this week, I get an error message saying couldn't back up. Ive tried to verify and rebuild, but it needs to backup before doing so, so that's when this fix breaks down.
Why all of a sudden is this happening? I tired to change location of the back up in preferences in QB, rebooted my computer and still same error, wont back up.
Please help!
