I am trying to allow for a deposit on my quote but it is not showing up on the new online update. I've followed the directions from the tutorial along with ensuring that I have Deposit selected under Sales form content. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Furthermore, the option to require a deposit for an estimate in QuickBooks Online is unavailable since Estimate in QBO is a non-posting entry. You'll have to convert an estimate into an invoice so you can process a payment.
Here's how to convert estimate to an invoice:
You can refer to this article for more detailed steps: Create and send estimates in QuickBooks Online.
After that, you're now ready to process the payments. I'll be sharing this article for your guide: Take and process payments in QuickBooks Online.

Thanks for getting back on this thread, @831Photography.
I appreciate you for providing an article as a reference to what you're trying to achieve in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I'll clarify a few things about how these new estimates' layout works.
At this time, we will keep on rolling out new versions for estimates and invoices to some customers. There is no specific timeline for when we can fully launch the full update to all of our users. That said, your workflow for estimates will look different depending on whether you have the old or new version of estimates.

You can click this article to view different details on how the new estimates and invoices can help your business and how they work in QBO: See what’s new with estimates and invoices in QuickBooks Online.
In the meantime, you'll want to follow the old layout wherein you need to create invoices to accept payments from your customers.
I’ve added this article to learn more about the effective way to enhance your sales forms: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online. It has complete instructions to personalize your messages and layout.

Hi there, @831Photography.
I completely understand your desire to obtain the most recent estimate update in QuickBooks Online. Since you haven't seen the new version, I've got some details to share.
As QuickBooks continues to churn out the latest version of estimates and invoices, there is no set date for when the full update will be available to all of our subscribers.
In the meantime, we can only utilize the old layout for an estimate until you receive the update.

Still waiting for deposits on estimates. Extra steps means extra explaination which usually leads to time lost and confusion for customers. Instead I see “set up a QB checking acct. Bad idea you all…
Still waiting for notifications for “estimate viewed” “estimate accepted/denied”
Markate looks like a program I might switch too. They have noticficatoins for scheduling, estimates, arrive, start etc……….they even have an notification that shows if the customer viewed an estimate. I like that!!!!
