Setting up Quickbooks with multiple Users over internet

Trying to set up QuickBooks Premier 2020 on a computer at the office with the ability for multiple users to logon and use offsite.  Any help or suggestions be appreciated, Thank you.

You can set up or install the QuickBooks Database Server Manager so you can share your company files with other computers over your network. This also helps you monitor your multi-user network. Setting up a network needs to have QuickBooks Database Server Manager running so users can access your company files.

I have it set up database manager, but i am not having luck to be able to access off site, different network.  I moved company file to a ftp server and map drived it, but the quickbooks scanfolders cant see that drive.
