Hello,

I) I'd like to know:

       1) how manually enter ETSY sales transactions and expenses with bank information to Quickbooks        Desktop Pro Plus 2021.

        2) how to import/export files to QB Desktop.

II) Do you happen to have like a Beginner's Guide 101 that is easy to understand and will guide me directly on how to enter Etsy, Ebay and Amazon sales, and expenses to QB Desktop Pro Plus 2021?

Thanks for joining in this conversation, @teanea. I can help you record your Etsy transactions in QuickBooks Desktop.

In QuickBooks, you'll use an invoice to record sales transactions to track receivables. You use a sales receipt when it's paid during the time of the transactions.

You can check out these links for the step-by-step guide:

You can also enter transactions by batch in QuickBooks Desktop

To record expenses, you can enter bills or write a check

As for the beginner guide, you can watch our quick video tutorials that give you exactly what you need when starting using QuickBooks Desktop: QuickBooks Desktop courses. Just choose QBDT as the QuickBooks version and click View courses below and choose the learn more button to start watching the video.

Here's an article to guide you with the process of importing and exporting data in QuickBooks Desktop

I am also trying to import my Etsy sales to Quickbook Desktop. Is the above advice how to manually enter an invoice?

I think what they were asking for, and what I want to know is if there is a way to import  Etsy sales to Quickbook Desktop.

Thanks for sharing some clarifications, @renaequilts.

Yes, the information shared by the colleague above is about manually entering invoices in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

Rest assured I can share you with the steps on how to import your invoices in QBDT. You'll want to export your invoices from Etsy and upload them in your QBDT. Once exported, here's how to import them.

  1. Go to the File menu, then select Utilities.
  2. Select Import, then select Import IIF.
  3. Click the IIF file you want to import, then select Open.
  4. Select OK to confirm the import.

You can also refer to this link for the complete process: Import and export data in QuickBooks Desktop.

In case you want to learn how to manually upload older bank transactions in QBDT, please see this article for reference: Set up bank accounts for Bank Feeds in QuickBooks Desktop

If you need more help with importing or exporting transactions in QBDT, please don't hesitate to leave the details in your reply. I'll be here ready to assist you anytime. Keep safe and have a good one!
