Join nowCan anyone share with me where the QuickBooks desktop Android app uploads the files of receipts to?
My android app says they have been uploaded; however, they do not show up in my vendors category for review on my QuickBooks Desktop 2021 plus on my CPU.
I am signed on with both CPU and phone to intuit and cannot figure where they are being sent.
I have read through the help files to no avail. If anyone knows of any other sources for information, it would be greatly appreciated.
Questions are where do files from android app go?
How do you check that they are going there?
Why are they not showing up in desktop 2021 for review?
Where is there information to help me technically check the process?
Has anyone else had issue with this process?
Thank You
Hello @B Cald Well,
You can review all your uploaded receipts directly from Receipt Management on the Vendors menu. Let me show you how.
But before we begin, the receipts you've uploaded from the mobile device stills needs action from your Intuit login. Let's consider logging in using this link and select the company file you wish to upload your receipts.
Once done, here's how you can review them:

Thank you so much for your time to respond! Unfortunately it did not work.
I am suspect that what the issue may be, is that my android app files are going to an old closed online account and are not going to my desk top version. I was a online user for a few years, however diversifying into several business's I switched to the desk top version in 2019 in order to cover a broader spectrum of activities. I like the flexibility of desktop however am not happy with tech support as I have been with their chat reps most of today and have been waiting on a dormant screen while I await for someone who can assist me. I have been back and forth between online and desktop techs, once already and am headed for round two. Started at 12:30 and now it is 4:16 at least I am catching up on the data entry.
If you have any other suggestions I would be appreciative.
Again Thanks for your particapation!
Hello there, B Cald Well. Thank you for your response.
We may have downloaded the wrong QuickBooks app. Let's ensure to get the correct one, which is the QuickBooks Desktop: Inventory & Receipt Management app. Once done, let's go back to the steps shared by my colleague above JonpriL and follow them one more time. This should help you upload and get the receipts from the app to your desktop version.

Again Thank you so much for your help. I have done what you have suggested and have been absolutely sure that I chose the right app for "desktop" out of the Android play store.
Have just finished a 6 hour tech chat and it ended up they gave me a reference # and will email me when they get it figured out. I am still convinced it is a issue between my old closed online account and my new desktop version. The files are going somewhere!
I feel that I have learned enough software programs to thoroughly vet the knowledge files and reach out to any user communities. I have to say the feed back from this community has been great!: tech support on the other hand.....
Still open to any other suggestions.
The up side is I did get a lot of data entry done while I was bouncing between techs ;o)
