Receive "payment received" notification - how can my bank account receive it?

I have not set up the invoice that can receive the payment from customer by Credit Card or Bank via Quickbook yet.  However I received the notification from Quickbook that says payment received for invoice xxxxxx.  It seems that customer made payment via Quickbook but my bank account didn't receive it.  How can I process to receive it from Quickbook to my bank account?

Thank you,

Nobuko

Receive "payment received" notification - how can my bank account receive it?

Hello, Nobuko.

Let's find out why you've got an email notification for invoice payment.

We can start checking the domain email of the notification. Our emails will always come from an email address that ends with @intuit.com. These are the following:

  • Payments@intuit.com
  • Notification@email.merchantcenter.intuit.com
  • PaymentNotification@email.paymentsolutions.intuit.com
  • BusinessServices@intuit.com
  • quickbooks@notification.intuit.com
  • ReplyTo@QBDT.intuit.com
  • do_not_reply@intuit.com

If the notification comes from Intuit, I'd suggest contacting our Payment Support Team to have this email and payment checked or traced by our specialist.

If you want to receive customer payments via credit card or bank transfer, you'll need to sign up for QuickBooks Payments. Here's how:

  1. Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Accounts and Settings.
  3. In the Payments tab, select on Learn more.
  4. Complete the company information.
  5. You'll be routed to the QuickBooks Payments page. Then, tick on Add QuickBooks Payment.

This will take about 24-28 hours, and you'll be notified via email once it's approved. When finished, you're now ready to send invoices with the Pay Now button. You can use this article as your visual reference: How to set up QuickBooks Payments.

Additionally, the following resources are good references. These will provide you more information on where you can see your QuickBooks payments statements as well as steps on how to check the payment status for a specific customer:

Thank you for the response.  The e-mail notification is coming from "[email address removed]
which is the one of the address you have listed.
So, for my next step, sign up for the Quickbook Payment and re-send the invoice?  I am worry about my client receive invoice twice as client seems to made payment via Quickbook already as I received the notification from Quickbook.  Please advise.

Thank you, Nobuko
